Pro-Meat 100 is just that; 100% pure meat and egg. Instead of ” freeze” drying the meat is “spray” dried, and then formed into pellets for ease of feeding. One pound of pro-meat is the equivalent of four and half pounds of fresh meat, making it extremely economical compared to freeze dried options. Pro-Meat 100 has been a staple among racing sled dog kennels for years, providing unparalleled nutrition and energy for hard working sled dogs in a convenient and economical form.
Pro-Meat 100 provides an excellent solution for raw feeders on the go who don’t want to carry fresh, frozen meat. This product is 100% meat made from Fish Meal (menhaden), Chicken Meal, Pork Meal, Whole Egg, Poultry Liver, and Tocopherols (Vit E). That’s it! This extremely dense food does not require refrigeration and is highly palatable, specifically designed for hard working dogs who may have depressed appetites. Pro-meat 100 has very low bacteria counts, making it appropriate for dogs with compromised immune systems.
Pro-Meat 100 is also suitable as a fresh meat substitute or as a snack for underweight dogs. To enrich your kibble dog food with a highly digestible, 100% meat product, add directly to your dog’s daily ration.
Pro-Meat does not have additional vitamins and minerals besides those naturally occurring in the product. Calcium is 3.5% and Phosphorus is 2.2%
The individual pellets are quite small, offering a (crumbly) training treat option for small dogs.
Do not overfeed! One pound of Pro-Meat 100 is the nutrition equivalent of four and a half pounds of fresh meat. When using pro-meat, very small amounts are needed to provide the nutrition and energy of fresh meat.
